The Southern Colorado Chapter of Community Associations Institute (CAI - SOCO) serves the education, business, and networking needs of community associations in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Durango, Pagosa Springs, Telluride, and other southern Colorado cities. Members include condominium, cooperative, and homeowner associations as well as those who provide services and products to associations.
The Southern Colorado Chapter was established in 1982 and has approximately 280 members. We are one of 61 Chapters of Community Associations Institute nationwide. Community Associations Institute is an international, non-profit organization dedicated to fostering vibrant, responsive, competent community associations.
Our Chapter is supported through a variety of sponsorship and volunteer opportunities, including annual partnerships and ala carte sponsorships for individual events. OUR VISION AND MISSION
The mission of the Southern Colorado Chapter is to provide the necessary
resources to members of community associations, their management and expert
service providers to the advancement of the HOA industry.
To support and enable member success to the advancement of the industry,
Southern Colorado Chapter of Community Associations Institute is recognized as
the primary source of education pertaining to HOA membership, management and
expert service providers.
The Southern Colorado Chapter accomplishes its vision and mission by holding eight Monthly Education Programs each year, two Special Education seminars, providing a bi-monthly newsletter to current members, and providing additional resources for our members in conjunction with the National organization. In addition the Southern Colorado Chapter likes to have fun as well, and hosts an annual Golf Tournament, annual Sky Sox Baseball Game & BBQ, a year-end celebration and awards ceremony, and other social events, such as our Member Mixers, for our members to get to know each other better. The Year-End Celebration also serves as our installation for the upcoming year's Officers.
