HOA Field Day: Prevention, Protection & Preservation
This interactive, on site workshop is designed specifically for HOA board members and community managers looking to proactively protect and maintain their communities. Attendees will rotate through four expert led stations, spending 15 minutes at each stop to gain practical, real world insight into key areas of community maintenance, risk mitigation, and long-term planning.
Topics include:
- Landscape & Tree Health in Drought Conditions – Learn best practices for water conservation, maintaining healthy landscapes during Colorado’s dry climate, and recognizing signs of tree stress before costly damage occurs.
- Building Assessments & Preventative Maintenance – Discover how routine inspections and proactive repairs can help associations avoid deferred maintenance and reduce long-term expenses.
- Fire-Hardened Materials & Community Protection – Explore materials and strategies that can help improve a community’s resilience against wildfire risks while enhancing safety and insurability.
-
Asphalt & Concrete Maintenance – Understand the importance of seal coating, crack repair, drainage considerations, and proactive maintenance to maximize the lifespan of community surfaces.
This hands on field session offers attendees the opportunity to ask questions directly to industry professionals while seeing examples in a real community setting. Participants will leave with actionable knowledge, preventative maintenance strategies, and practical tools to help preserve property values and protect their communities for years to come.
Note: This class will require attendees to walk between multiple stations both indoors and outdoors. Please dress comfortably and wear appropriate footwear.
Registration closes the Friday before the event at 5pm MST. The event begins at 11am with networking, lunch, and our presentation after.
